Children can be the light of our
lives but also the bane of our existence. When born, we look at
the tiny bundle of joy and dream of the
possibilities. What will they see
during their lifetimes? Will they do something extraordinary?
To my way of thinking, being born is
already something extraordinary!
During my lifetime, I helped raise three children, two sons and
a daughter. I have watched them
make mistakes, make positive changes,
grow up, have their own children, and even had to bury my oldest
son. Looking back now, I took
far too few photographs of my kids
being kids. While I have my memories of coaching Little League
and other youth sports, their high school
graduations, and first loves, I
have far too few photographs that document their lives.
